Located in a landscape that evokes the castles of the Loire Valley in France, the El Castillo Museum combines history, art and nature in a unique space. Built in 1930 in medieval Gothic style, this building houses the largest collection of decorative arts in Medellin, highlighting:
- Works by Colombian and European artists.
- Furniture, Baccarat glassware, porcelain and tableware of European manufactures from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

Originally conceived as a country house, the museum was transformed by Diego Echavarría Misas and Benedikta Zur Nieden into a cultural center that today combines tradition and vanguard, with a commitment to promote the arts and preserve the cultural heritage.
